    A Straight-into-the-point SEO Book

The author did a great job putting every major piece of SEO together. It is very easy to follow this book because of its well-organized structure. Some of the tools mentioned in the book are very valuable. One thing I found most useful from this book is the “friendly” way that author talked about some of the very technical stuff, such as URL redirect/rewrite, nofollow, robots.txt, etc. I highly recommend this book!

This book is a great start for those who want to learn about SEO but don’t know where to begin. It presents several great tools like google webmaster tools, XML sitemaps and many others that so far have been great to me. I just wish I had found this book before redoing and moving our site. We have lost a great deal of rankings as a result of not knowing what to ask our programmers to do. I highly recommend it.

I’m a relative newbie to the notion of SEO. This book was just the right tool to help me quickly understand what I needed to know.

The amount of detail is perfect, and the third party references very useful.

I’ve already recommended it to friends, all of which I’m sure will equally benefit.

    Great Reference Material
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I like to buy books that I will reference time and time again. This book fits that category.

It is a broad overview of the SEO field. A lot of books are way too basic to be of any practical use but this book is good for an intermediate level internet marketer.

Basically, it gives me a broad overview of an SEO tool that I then google and research some more.

A great investment for anyone with a website.

When I got this book I didn’t think that it would be full of many things. I thought I would use it only to brush up on my skills. Believe it or not this book is whamp packed with little hints and tricks that you might find useful.

If you have done some SEO techniques before then most of the major topics in this book will be of no use to you. Saying that though, there are some little gems of tips and tricks inside that makes this book worth while.

If you are starting out with SEO I would recommend this book to anyone, If have dived into the realm of SEO then this book will show you some hints and tips you might not have seen before

    Illustrations make all the difference

An excellent book – well organized and easy to read.

Lots of illustrations make all the difference.

    Don’t like:

    – Choice of font. It’s a bit small and dense.

    – Introduction pages are too packed with the information and hard to follow. After reading the introduction I was about to return this book and get another.

I’m a picker and a skimmer. As unsavory as it sounds, it simply means I rarely read a manual from front to back. I skim and a pick out items that are relevant or interesting to me. This book is perfect for that type of person. Concise two-page explainations, then on to the next subject.

I also purchased the “An Hour a Day” book with this one and I have barely touched the other. The “Hour a Day” book is good for someone with a more linear approach to learning.

I have a website that was averaging about 20 new visitors a day. I barely registered on Yahoo and Google. After the spiders caught sight of my website, the effect was instant. After two weeks, I am bringing in over 100 a day and I have only applied three of the principles in the book so far. This book paid for itself and much more.

Kristopher Jones makes search engine optimization (SEO) accessible to a wide audience while acknowledging that various aspects of SEO are quite technical. Mr. Jones takes a holistic approach to SEO by showing that there are many moving pieces behind a search engine-friendly Web site. The author does not minimize the amount of work that is needed to come up with an optimized Web site and to keep up with the competition that will not rest on its laurels in that area. To his credit, Mr. Jones enthusiastically embraces the wisdom that a picture is worth a thousand words. Mr. Jones uses computer screenshots abundantly to show how to take advantage of many tools that are out there to help technologists and marketers do a better job at SEO. Many authors from a wide range of disciplines can find inspiration in Mr. Jones’ use of visuals to support his narrative. Furthermore, the section “Extra” that supplements each topic is worthwhile. That section contains many practical tips that SEO practitioners can use to their benefit. As a side note, Mr. Jones could make a compilation of all the great resources that he mentions throughout his book. That list could complement the various existing visuals that would be featured in a new edition of Mr. Jones’ SEO manual. In conclusion, “http://www.aplacandocompetencia.com/afiliados.html.‘)” onmouseout=”docTips.hide()” rel=”nofollow” href=”http://leeschuco.com/wp-content/plugins/instantwordpresslink-1.2/wppl.php?action=iwpl-click&id=2&aff=cb&mid=34201″ class=”wppl_external” id=”http://leeschuco.com/wp-content/plugins/instantwordpresslink-1.2/wppl.php?action=iwpl-click&id=2&aff=cb&mid=34201″>Search Engine Optimization” is a great resource to add to anyone’s SEO arsenal.
